Pampers Reimagines Real Parenting Stories As Animated Superhero Shorts

The first Pampers Pooper Heroes video was inspired by a redditor whose three-year-old yells “cowabunga” every time he goes down the slide at the park.

The second Pampers Pooper Heroes video was inspired by a redditor whose toddler believes any adult sitting on the floor is a default horse— Yehaw!

Brand Challenge

Many a brief has been written around the challenges of parenting. Rather than highlight the difficulties, Pampers wanted to authentically connect with parents as they celebrate their little one’s incredible feats of movement.

Creative Solution

Parents are regularly celebrating their babies’ milestones with their Reddit parenting communities. Pampers leaned into this uplifting insight by launching Pampers Pooper Heros—a series of bespoke videos inspired by real parenting stories.

First, we invited redditors to share stories about their babies’ incredible moves and milestones—from bravely tackling first slides to fearlessly dancing in the living room, the stories poured in! Then we worked with an independent illustrator to reimagine select stories as animated video shorts. The videos were scaled back across Reddit to hero and celebrate real parents and their kiddos in a playful, memorable way.
